This resource database contains a large amount of information collected as a result of continually being involved in projects that are based in the cyberinfrastructure, education, science, and engineering fields. Among these listings you will find scientific visualization software, communications tools, education links, and documentation, training, and help for all of the above. |

 CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS |

| Software/Tools | This section contains resources relating to specific pieces of software or tools used in education and/or scientific discovery. Many of the resources in the section are actuall software downloads, or pointers to downloads. This section also includes some documentation, tutorials, and good sources of help for a lot of the software found here. | | Communication Tools | The Communication Tools sub-division of the resources database includes software and tools that are used for communication purposes. Some examples of these may be things like Moodle, the Access Grid, or information on the Personal Interface to the Grid (PIG). | | Tutorials & Documentation | This category is another way of specifying the desired search parameters. Often the results in this category will overlap with the results in the other categories, as it includes tutorials, documentation, and help sections for pieces of software and other tools featured on this site. | | Visualization Resources | This section contains a variety of resources that aid in scientific visualization. These may include software, datasets, or pointers to other good visualization resource areas. | | Research/Learning | This section contains various miscellaneous resources that are derived from a broad spectrum of projects that have been done over the years. This section also contains some presentation slides for various activities from different workshops such as REVITALISE and GEMS. | | Data & Datasets | This is a list of datasets, both small and large, that can be used for various projects or just to test and learn how to use tools like AVS, EasyViz, Databridge. |
